This stop sign comes equipped with laser sensors similar to those used to stop garage doors from crushing unsuspecting children. If a car breaks the beam of the sensor without coming to a complete stop, spray nozzles immediately unload a volley of paint at the unsuspecting traffic violator. This effectively annoys the driver, publicly shames them, and alerts police officers to their traffic violation as well.
